I’ve had many conversations with people who are in the public education system and they’re constantly talking about how they need help with money. When I say they need help with money, that doesn’t mean they need to take some of it and give it to the government. They need some help with money because they want to do their job and they want to have a decent life. They want to go to school and be able to contribute to society and the world.
It’s a real problem. A lot of our schools are funded by the government and they make it possible to get a decent education, but a great number of poor students who go to school can’t take it because they dont have the money. Even when they do have money, there’s usually some kind of financial hurdle they have to jump.
The other huge hurdle is that public schools are not free. They charge per student and theres a lot of financial requirements. There is no question that public schools cost a lot of money. In fact, I think the average public school in the U.S. is over $16,000/student. So what if you have to pay for your own education? If you make $50,000 a year and you wanna go to college, you will pay $35,000 a year.
If you think I’m just talking about money, you’re right. Public school is expensive. But if you had to pay for all of your education as well, that’s 2,000,000 extra dollars. That’s the cost of putting one kid in college. If you have to pay to keep a kid in public school, that’s a lot of money you can save by sending them to a private school.
I think there are two things to keep in mind when thinking about public school and private school. The first is that the two systems are not the same. Public school students have the advantage of a larger number of schools and a larger range of types and classes. It is much harder to get in and out of private school. The second is that private school students are often required to pay higher fees, which makes it harder to get into.
The difference between a public school and a private school is that public schools have to spend a lot of money to pay teachers. Private schools are free and therefore have no such financial barriers.
Private schools are funded by tax money, which means they get more money per student. With this in mind, the real reason for the disparity in public school funding is that public schools are more public. This means that the education in public schools is seen as more important than education in private schools. This is where the “public schools are more important than private schools” argument comes from.
There’s been a lot of talk about public schools being “universally” better than private schools. That’s a good thing. It means that parents will be able to choose between school systems that have similar levels of academic quality, and it means that public schools will have the best teachers and professors. The problem is that many private schools are not well-funded, and their teachers are not recognized as having the highest academic caliber.
In my opinion, the answer to this is a matter of dollars.
