Today I’m excited to be talking about the upcoming changes to the way in which the office of education (OCE) will communicate with the public. This will be an exciting time to be part of because they are announcing a major initiative to create a better online learning experience. I am a huge proponent of online learning and I am excited to see how this changes the way we can interact with the public.
The online learning experience will be a major shift for the office of education. The most notable change is that the OCE will no longer be a place where students are asked to fill out a questionnaire about their learning. Instead, the office of education will be offering a digital learning dashboard that will allow the public to track progress and make suggestions. The dashboard will also feature new ways for students and parents to interact with the office of education.
All of this is great, but let’s back up a sec. Why can’t we just have a “school” that’s online? One of the biggest problems for online schools in the past was that they weren’t designed to work on a large scale, like a school or community college. And while there’s a lot of potential to change how you learn online, you still need to have a website, a curriculum, and a class schedule.
I’m just trying to see what everyone’s thinking about the new “schools” in the future. I know that we could use some of this information to get us started.
But the problems with online schools is that some of the things that are online schools, you can do so much more with them than just the curriculum. That’s a great idea, especially if you want to study abroad. I mean, what happens if you get sick or something? You can call them, they can come out to your house, and you can study from home. They also have programs that offer special courses for international students, and they have many different programs to choose from, so just about any type of student can go to one of these programs.
