Many restaurants and bars also give guests a list of wines that they typically enjoy. Some wedding venues also send out invites, and you can even buy wine lists in advance.
Most of these wine tasting events are held at private homes, but some are held at winery weddings. You can even host wine tastings in your own home. It’s a great way to introduce guests to the wines you’re enjoying without feeling like you’re asking them to drink a bunch of wine that you know they don’t like.

I’m not sure I agree with the whole wine tasting thing, but I like it. We’re all wine drinkers, no matter what our preferences are. And there really is a lot of wine out there in the world.
A lot of people are skeptical of getting married. But I don’t think you need to worry about it. We’re not talking about a “wedding” per se but rather an event that is held as a “wedding”. We’re just talking about a group of people together to spend the night celebrating with their friends and one bottle of wine.
Here’s an example of the kind of wine I’m talking about: a few years ago I had a party at an art gallery and we were hosting an informal wine-tasting event. The reception was a great time and I was really excited about making wine with my host and friends. However, I was not a very good wine taster because I was too busy talking to my friend at the bar.
