I love the wedding venues in Missouri. The ones with a little bit of a personality. I have a lot of fun getting married there.

This Missouri couple’s wedding was one of the first ones I ever hosted. I had worked with their wedding planner for years, and it was one of the first things I thought of when I heard they were getting married. They had been in the planning stages for months, and the ceremony was set to take place on their honeymoon. So I was excited. The ceremony actually took place on the day of the wedding, and the reception was the next day.
I was a little jealous that I didn’t get to spend a day with brides in this state. I know it’s a big wedding state, and maybe I will someday, but for now, I’m happy I got to be there for the wedding of a couple who wanted me there for the reception.

The first two days of the wedding were a lot of fun. We stayed at our sister’s house and went to a few different places like the zoo, the arcade, the bowling alley, and the mall. The only place I felt a little afraid was the restaurant we went to and the place we used to eat at when we could go without her. The food was good, but it was a little bland and not the first thing I would have expected to see on a wedding day.
