One question I get asked often is what is the difference between my church and the other local churches. I think there are very few differences, as far as I can tell. All of the churches are Christian churches in a general sense, so I think there isn’t much that is different. I grew up in a church that was more of a community of believers than a church of believers.
The best comparison would be the way two people work as a team. If you want to make a good team, you need to be able to trust each other. Both leaders and members must trust the process and be willing to go along with it. This is similar to the way a business works or a marriage partners. You can’t just build a church and expect that it will have the stability and longevity that its members expect.
