I found the three levels of self-awareness you describe to be incredibly helpful because they are so much more than a gimmick that they have been a very effective way to get students to learn about it.
The three levels of self-awareness I mentioned above are very important to us, because we are stuck in an ever-changing web of relationships, relationships between our lives, and relationships between our lives and our lives. As a result, we have a lot more work to do than we do now. I have just started a new job, so I am just leaving it up to others to figure out how to better teach us.
I am going to be working in Singapore, and I am going to be teaching special education in Singapore for a while. This isn’t a big task, but it is a lot of work and we need to figure out how to use this to our benefit.
My biggest worry is that we will get so used to working in this way that we lose the ability to teach students about themselves. One of the main ways that we do that is by teaching them to look for their own answers to questions that don’t make sense. We can’t do this in the US, at least not yet.
Well, I have to admit, I’d rather be teaching in the US. I’ve been living in Europe for about 8 years and I dont know how I will ever get over my fear of the US. They have very different ways to teach kids and the kids are even more different in the US. In the US, you are taught how to be a “student” and a student can be anything from a teacher to a janitor.
In Singapore, we do the opposite. It is easier to teach kids to be “students”, but it’s far more difficult to teach them to have an explanation for what they are doing. If we want to see Singapore succeed, we need to change this. We need to start teaching in the manner I’ve described above, and then we will have to worry about the other things I have been talking about.
Singapore’s Education system is incredibly different from the US, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be doing it. We should be doing it, because we have the resources to do it. We just need to take these resources and start using them.
As Ive said before, I think we should have a lot more public school teachers in Singapore, and this would give them an opportunity to show us what really works before they get hired by the big boys in the big cities to teach for a living. This was a point of discussion in one of the other videos on the site – if we want our kids to get better, we need to start teaching them to be better.
This is a different story. I want to see if I can get my kids to do other things that they already do, like playing with their toys and walking around. Not only do they have to have a solid background in math or history, but they also have to be able to stand on their own two feet. That’s not a great deal for the kids, but it will help them to learn.
I’ve never been to Singapore before. It’s not that I’ve never been here before, but I’ve lived in Singapore about 5 years. The best part of it is just the difference between the two places.
