Self-awareness does not always lead to compassion. It often leads to more problems.
I recently heard my friend’s daughter say that she never felt like she understood what was going on with her special education teacher. She said that he should have been fired, and that she felt that she was trying to be supportive, but she was too concerned with the way she was feeling to make a concerted effort to understand him. I don’t think I’ve heard of anything more awful than this happening in the school system.
I am not a teacher. But, I do feel the same way about my teachers. When I first started teaching, I was in a school district that had one teacher for all the classes, a school nurse, and an administrator. In the end, I was the only one who could teach the teachers. I dont want to be the only one who can’t do something without having to do it.
I find it really interesting that I can have a teacher who I dont like. Why? Because I cant do everything they do. Because I have a learning disability, but I can still do things that they can and do it often. I see them as more of a challenge and an opportunity to learn or teach a lesson. I feel like they are my own individualized learners and not just teachers. I dont think their success is dependent on the other teachers.
If you want to make a connection with your life life at home, and you know that you need to be in a place where you can learn, and you know that you need to be in a place where you can learn, then you can make the connection.
That’s the kind of connection I think we all want to make. As a matter of fact, I think we should be making a lot of those kinds of connections. The problem here is that some of our friends and families may not know how to reach out to us. It’s hard to explain to everyone how important it is to have a good relationship with our teachers.
I’m not sure how many times I’ve heard this quote, but its a great one. It makes sense that as a parent you would want to know your child has been educated, and you should take advantage of every opportunity you can to help them study. But the problem here is that some of your friends and family may not know how to reach out to you. Its hard to explain to everyone how important it is to have a good relationship with your teachers.
I have seen plenty of movies, and many of the people in which I am interviewed are pretty good at it.
This is a great quote for the average teacher to use, but it is actually something I myself have used a lot to help me teach. It’s an effective way to explain that a lot of times the way you ask a question is a good way to get the answer you are looking for.
I would really like to include this in my next book. I would like to add it to the first section under “The Three Levels of Self-Awareness” because a lot of times a person is not aware of what he is doing. A lot of times I would like to explain to them that they are doing something wrong. They don’t see it, so we would want to go over some good ways to explain what is going on.
