One of the things I love about wedding photography is that you can put yourself in the picture. Just having my wedding pictures online is a huge step for me. A few years ago, I was making a lot of my own wedding decisions, but the majority of them were made through Pinterest. I love being able to go into a picture of a special moment, or a beautiful picture of a special person.
Small weddings are a little different. While the planning and the details are similar, the emotions and the reactions are a little more intense because you are putting yourself into the picture and not just in the frame. So the wedding I made for my friend’s sister was a little different. I had her and her husband planning the entire thing themselves, and then I was there to capture them.
It was a small wedding, but one that was a little more personal than most. My sister and her husband did the whole bride and groom thing, and I was there to capture them after they got married. The way it was shot was a little different though. I just really wanted to show her and her husband how happy they were.
This is the type of shot that I have a hard time with in most weddings. The bride is sitting at the altar, and the groom is standing in front of her. The bride looks good, but the groom doesn’t. People don’t like that.
That’s a little more of a challenge than most of the couples I shoot. People just don’t like that, so I have to do a lot of work editing so that I can show them how they are, not how I want them to be.
In Deathloop, the bride and groom are actually all tied up in a wedding party, and Colt’s trying to pull the wedding off. Of course, the bride is aware that she’s not who she thinks she is, so she’s actually working on the opposite of her wedding wishes. Colt has to figure out how to get them to realize that they’re all tied up in knots, and how to change them back so they can go back to where they started.
