I’m not sure why I keep reading this. I don’t know what the guy who wrote it wrote about. I just find it a really useful quote, for a lot of things.

Yeah, that’s a good idea. The quote of rousseau is about being motivated, and it’s a good idea to apply it to your life and your work. But I think its more of an “aha!” kind of thing. Maybe he was a bit too ambitious for his own good, but he had a point that being motivated has to be done in the moment, not in some long-term future.
