I recently started reading The New York Times. I like to read the newspaper daily, but also see what’s on tv and listen to music when I’m bored. I’ve always had a healthy fascination and respect for the news media, and the fact that the news has gotten so much better in recent years is a testament to its power, integrity, and independence.
The problem with reading the news is that it takes a lot of time to digest, and it can be hard to focus on the articles as they are being read. For that reason, I like to read it at night. I find myself reading a lot of “breaking news” and not really paying attention to the “big picture,” as it were. This gives me a chance to take in the information as I have it, and lets me make my own decisions about what I want to read.
By reading in the dark, you are able to find out more about the stories that are on the news in an unbiased manner that you would not if you were reading at a normal time. This is a great alternative to watching the news on tv, or being a member of the news media. And for those of us who are interested in this, I suggest you try it out. It’s also a great way to learn about history, culture, politics, and current events.
I have to say, I really like the idea of books being printed in the dark. I think they look much better and are more useful as a reference. Plus, I have very good lighting in my office. So it has been a while since I used one of my books as a reference.
