This is a great piece that we have put into the hands of our teacher to help students think about our lives and not just what they are doing right now. Mindstream will make a student think about what is going on around them and how they can apply what they are learning to their daily life.

It’s a bit of a long read, but it’s interesting and gives great insight into how to think about life. Many students (most of them) get lost in the idea that their lives go all over the place and they are not always in their own head. They don’t realize how much they rely on the rest of the world and how easy it is for those around them to affect their moods.

Mindstream isn’t for everyone, but in my experience, many students are really receptive to what they learn and feel like they are learning something new. Most teachers I’ve had found this to be true.

As for the content, I found this particularly useful in dealing with the feeling of being “out of the loop” when dealing with issues that are out of your control. You have to learn to trust that your brain is working really hard and that you are not just being a victim of it.

A lot of my students actually love the new content. They have all sorts of positive emotions like excitement and happiness, but they also are quite withdrawn from it. They are even less able to grasp the concept of it and are often unaware that they are actually having a good time.

I am the type of person who will organize my entire home (including closets) based on what I need for vacation. Making sure that all vital supplies are in one place, even if it means putting them into a carry-on and checking out early from work so as not to miss any flights!
