The problem with resources like this is that you would be spending your time trying to find out what something is about. So you wouldn’t be doing any of the work yourself. It would be like a person who is a graphic designer who just knows their way around Photoshop.

This is an issue that can be solved somewhat by getting an expert to do the research for you. As a web designer, I would recommend that you read every blog post from the first couple pages to the last. Then research a bit. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, check the blog archives and see what the author is talking about. It’s like looking in a library for information on a particular subject.

To create a website that will look good and be easy to navigate you will have to hire graphic designers. The best place to start is to search for local businesses that you know have a good reputation. You can ask your friends and family who might know of the best business to contact.

Some people will look at the site and think, “that looks good but I’m not interested.” They aren’t right, but many people are. If you don’t want to spend the money to hire a full time graphic designer, you can use tools like Dreamweaver or FrontPage to design your site. These tools can also be used for designing websites for small businesses.

I am the type of person who will organize my entire home (including closets) based on what I need for vacation. Making sure that all vital supplies are in one place, even if it means putting them into a carry-on and checking out early from work so as not to miss any flights!
