This is an example of what I love about my job. I am able to be me and help others be better versions of themselves. The joy this entails is a good thing.
I’m not sure what that says about me. I’m not sure if I’m better than everybody. I’m not even sure if I can be me at all.
I have been having so much fun that I have decided to give myself a little break from my normal routine. I will still go to the gym twice a week, but I will also start taking a class every week. I will still go to the movies, but I will also start attending more movies. I will still go out with my friends, but I will also start spending more time with them. I will still blog, but I will also start blogging more often.
My only complaint is that I will probably still have to see a few different movies at the same time. That last one I got to see a year ago was amazing, so I think Im going to have to see one more one before I can be myself again.
At least I don’t have to worry that I’m going to get stuck in some weird time loop or whatever. At least now I don’t have to worry about a year or two of my life being spent in one movie theater.
That said, there are just some movies that are just too short to last. I would love the chance to see the latest installment of Keanu Reeves’ “The Matrix” trilogy, but I haven’t seen that since the first movie.
For the sake of this post, I have to say that I prefer The Matrix movies, but thats because I like the fact that they take place in a real time-loop.
I do still remember what it was like to be stuck in a time loop, and I remember how awesome it was. However, time loops aren’t for everyone. People who like time-loops like to watch movies that are short enough that they can actually last a year, because they don’t want to be stuck in the same one forever. That said, the Matrix movies are still a wonderful time-loop, and it’s one of the few movies that I’ve grown to love watching.
In a time-loop, the people you interact with always seem to be in the same place at the same time. This is both frustrating and wonderful. I feel like some people would prefer that the characters you interact with are just people who act like you, or a person you don’t know, with the goal of getting you to do something for them.
Well, that’s the premise of the Matrix movies. The actual movie, of course, is more about how all the characters you interact with in the Matrix movies are in the Matrix because that’s all that happened. Even though you are not the “real” you, you are still stuck in the Matrix. So when you are interacting with a character that doesn’t seem to be in the Matrix, you try to convince them to join the Matrix so that you can get out of the Matrix.
