I was in Bengaluru on a bengali wedding with a friend. We had a blast. It was a very cool experience. My friend left the bollywood music scene a long time ago but still goes to see his friends at weddings. This bengali wedding was a one-of-a-kind experience. My friend was married to a very beautiful woman and they did a very beautiful wedding with the traditional bengali music and dance that we all love.
I’m not sure if the fact that it was in Bengaluru means that it was more authentic to the bengali culture or just a coincidence but I was pretty impressed by the whole wedding.
I’ve never been to India and this was the first time I’ve ever been to a bengali wedding. It was amazing. My friend and his bride were at the end of the day to receive their bouquets and I was waiting for them to walk down the aisle. There were so many people there and I was in awe of the whole thing. The wedding was also accompanied by a live music performance that was wonderful.

When you walk down the aisle to receive your bouquet, the bride is supposed to present a bouquet that is the same color as her dress. It’s more formal then, just like you would expect it to be. There were six bride and groom and their first dance was a very traditional one with the bride and groom together. The bride’s outfit was a sari but the bride’s bouquet had the color of the bride’s dress. It was very interesting and cool.
I saw a lot of wedding gowns last night. They were beautiful, but they were very very different. I was surprised to see that they were all of the same color and style. I was expecting a lot more variety. I was hoping that after a few days of wedding dresses, weddings would be really boring and predictable.

I’m glad to hear the wedding dress trends are on the up. It’s nice that people aren’t afraid to mix and match the different styles. You can’t have one color wedding dress and no other wedding dresses.
