A quick way to help students understand the power of art education is to show them what they can create with their own hands. Create a few artworks on your own, you can even create one for each student. Show them how to paint a picture, write a poem, or draw a simple design. The more you use your hands, the more they will see that art is something that can be used in their lives, and they will start to understand the power of their own hands.

For most students art is a bit of a mystery, and they may not be aware of the power of art to transform their lives in some way. But when you show them how to create in their own life, they really begin to understand the power of art to change their life experiences. If you can help them understand that they can use the power of art to change the world around them, they will most likely feel more ready to take the plunge and start creating art.

It’s hard to say what percentage of students who are enrolled in art education programs are actually artists or are just people who are artistic. Some of them may believe that they are artists, and some may just be interested in art. It would be nice to know how big a percentage of students actually are, but there is no way of knowing. To get a better idea of how much art education is actually being done by students, it is interesting to look at the actual numbers.

In the U.S. there are 3,150 art education programs. In the U.K. there are 3,000. In Australia there are 2,000. In Japan (our home) there is only 1,000. This means that about 2,500 students are in some kind of art education program. This is a huge number, but it is important to note that there was a drop in enrollment from 2010 to 2011.

But we’re not the only ones interested in art education. According to the National Art Education Partnership, a nonprofit consortium of schools teaching art education programs, the most popular courses include drawing and photography. In addition, the website arteducation.org has lots of great resources to help you learn more about art education and courses.
