The problem is when people don’t take care of themselves, the world they live in is going to hurt them. Self-care is a skill that most of us can learn. If we learn to take care of ourselves, that will be a pretty obvious self-care skill. We can also learn to take care of the people around us. We can learn to take care of our friends and family. The same thing applies to the people we work with.

The word self-care doesn’t quite express how to take care of yourself, but it can be an important part of self-evaluation. Self-care is the process of learning to be a better person. The word self-awareness means looking at yourself and acknowledging your shortcomings. Self-awareness can be a positive thing, but if you’re always thinking about yourself and never looking at others, you’re not really self-aware.

I am the type of person who will organize my entire home (including closets) based on what I need for vacation. Making sure that all vital supplies are in one place, even if it means putting them into a carry-on and checking out early from work so as not to miss any flights!
